About the Role

Our client is looking to hire a Field Case Manager to oversee and coordinate medical care for individuals injured in auto accidents under no-fault insurance laws. This field-based role requires visiting patients at appointments, long-term acute care/specialized nursing facilities, homes, and documenting on the go. The role aims to ensure patients receive necessary and covered medical care under insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate treatment between doctors, therapists, and other healthcare providers.
  • Monitor the progress of patient recovery.
  • Ensure patients receive medical care deemed necessary and covered under insurance policies.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies, adjusters, and attorneys.
  • Assist patients in returning to work or adjusting to disabilities when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with case management experience.
  • Experience with no-fault auto insurance and/or workers' compensation case management.
  • Ability to document and manage cases remotely when not visiting patients.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and coordination skills with healthcare providers.
  • Ability to advocate for patients in disputes with insurance providers.
  • Proficient in managing and documenting patient care on the go.
