Description:
Coordinates total patient nursing care for patients, participated in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standard for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
72hrs per week 7p-7:30a every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with CBA

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Labor & Delivery RNs shall complete NRP and ACLS within 6 months of hire and Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within 1 year of hire.
This position will be Labor & Delivery/Mother Baby work zones

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
- For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.
- Position requires RN to be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures,
medial staff. This knowledge is normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time.
- Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEU’s for relicensure.
- Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of MGHP.
